Title: Directory server not connected
Post by: kamalnba on June 09, 2015, 12:56:21 PM
Hi Guys,

I was trying to add DID groups in emps and suddenly it crashed and started displaying directory server is not connected. I have checked LDAP service it is up and running. it is GVP 7.6 and now I am unable to login to EMPS.

Any suggestions...

Regards
KG

Reinstall LDAP, by luck you have a backup, right?

No... :(

İş it LDAP database corruption. Can't it be recovered?

I do recall doing that long long time ago...had to do with recover Ldap base file...honestly was a procedure sent by Genesys...lost that info.
Hope some other has more memory than me on 7.6 :S

I have got the script and tried running without stopping watchdog and LDAP service, it didn't worked. Not sure if script has to be executed after stoping watchdog and openldap service. Please suggest...
