Like the topic says backing up license manager, anyone?

I presume you mean the .dat file with your products in it? Just copy it somewhere safe.

You mean havinga redundant license manager, I hope, because otherwise, Ritchie is right just copy it somewhere safe.

If you need to have a redundant license manager, asked Genesys for backup license : those license are offered at a reduced price. Then, when you get them, just do this:
l 7260@machine1:7260@machine2 instead of setting it to license.dat

Have you thought about running a different license manager on each host, and requesting licenses for applications that will run on that specific host?
It takes a little planning to determine which hosts you want to run the applications on, but in doing so, you do not have your environment depending on a single host.
