Title: Avaya Sip hardphones model 9608

We are in the process of migrating from Avaya to Genesys Sip server 8.1, we have some issues on making those phones work with Sip server 8.1
We are using firmware 6.5.0 of model 9608 and also we are testing model 4621.
Anybody can provide some feedback on using Avaya hardware with Genesys SIP server?

Hi,

Even though they support SIP I very much doubt they would work with SIPS e.g. Broadsoft extensions etc. According to this (http://docs.genesys.com/Documentation/System/8.5.0/SMI/SupportedHardPhones) the following Avaya hardphones are supported:

4610SW, 4620SW, 4621SW,9650

I saw that PDF. But I'm wondering if somebody can give me an official answer about if  will or will not work.
We can register it but is not registering well, default sip port etc.

You just got it, official Genesys supported docs. Anything else, is up to you.
