Title: Hyperion Performance Suite 8.5
Post by: PFCCWA on August 27, 2015, 08:42:54 AM
Hello,

We have a customer who is still using hyperion performance suite.
this was deployed by a previous integrator so we do not have access to user id and password.

I know it is no longer under support but wondered whether this can be reset?
or where is the user id set up or come from?
I have tried CME and DB logins but they do not work.

thanks.

If the default account has changed password, you have two choice:

1. Decrypt the password from database records
2. Reinstall Hyperion SW

I have tried the default account but it did not work,
maybe the user id can be changed when deploying..

What component are you using to "log in"?  Hyperion Client (Designer) / Web Client / Enterprise Server ?

So, the web client - try hyperion/hyperion

You might want to take a look at accessing the Enterprise Server (HES), rather than just accessing through a client WebUI.  You might have more luck!

if you have access to the Hyperion database, you are able to create any user manually and afterthat log in with this user. I have used this approach in past for some customers.
