Title: Co-Browse Setup
Post by: Maya on September 22, 2015, 02:28:53 PM
Hello All, Please help to find answer for below points-

-- > What is the content of gcbSessionServer cookie ? THis is same cookie for both customer side and agent side sessions ?

-- > For a Cobrowse cluster, how gcbSessionServer cookie is used by load balancer for session affinity ?

-- > From agent side , how internal  load balancer determines on where to forward the request ? once the cobrowse server returns info on which server the session active ? My understanding is for first request , cobrowese server return name of server on which session is active ? Now for subsequent request how to force load balancer to forward request to specific server on which session is active ?

-- > How to do a health check on cobroswe ? Does it has a sample home page ? or something similar ? Timeout example in Genesys doc is not suitable for prod.

Thanks,

Maya

thanks Ankush,

Let me know if you run into issue, I am trying to integrate cobrowse and GMS chat.

One silly question , is cobrowse is based on licenses or no? Or it simply work with chat and voice agents default all ?

Hi Maya,

As far as I know,Co-Browser do not need License - I setup without any additional license specifically for Co-browser .. If Co-browser need license for some special requirements then I really don't know .. You need to check in documentation.

However, You must need Chat or Voice seats license in order to work co-browser with required media.

I've uploaded my Co-browsing testing page, so you can use it and try Co-browser functionality  :)

You just edit the IP/Hostname and port of Co-browser in uploaded page.

You need commercial license... You can't install a product and offer support of you didn't sell it
