In our environment we use two Aspect ACD's and Genesys 6.5.
We are currently doing skills based routing on "first available agent" independent of which ACD location. However this is causing lot of external routing. Therefore we want to change the routing so that call's first go to the ACD the call enters before checking agent availability on the second ACD.
One alternative would be to use a routing statserver for each ACD, but we want to avoid that if possible.
Does anybody know if it is possible on the Aspect ACD to use virtual agent groups to route to agents that are logged in to a specific ACD? According to the Statserver documentation this should be possible by using ACDQueue@switch filter, however apparently there is no acdqueue info when we use the Aspect. So any idea's on how to solve this would be appreciated.
