Title: Maximum number of client connections in Message Server?
Post by: pspenning on January 15, 2016, 05:00:46 PM
Good Day Everyone -
I have been looking through the Genesys documentation and I just can't seem to place my finger on it, so I thought I would ask here as well....
What is the limit of connections you should make with a Message Server?  I recall it was around 80 or 90 connections depending on server load of course, but can't find it written...

Can someone point me to documentation which mentions this?  I saw it once, but can't find it now.

Thanks so much for any advice!

I should add that this would be an 8.1 environment running RHEL.
Thanks -

MessageServer, itself, has no limit. The limit is related to the OS.

Thanks!  That does make sense as every connection takes a socket.  Perhaps the document I was looking at was not from Genesys, but rather someone's thoughts...

Much appreciated!
