Title: Tserver for Nortel environment automatically sends DNDON when AGENTLOGOUT
Post by: vino.sd08 on February 09, 2016, 07:17:13 PM
HI all,
We are into development of a softphone. We came to know that Nortel server will send EventDNDOn while we RequestAgentLogOut, why this is happening and how to over come. Is there any server configuration to disable this feature or its coming from URS. Kindly help us

Ask your Nortel guys.
At least post what configurations you have on those sets on the Nortel side. Read the TServer guide as well to see how Genesys recommends configurations to be done

In TServer for Nortel environment, Workspace no longer sends three
RequestAgentLogout requests when an agent tries to exit the application. Previously, in
environments where TServer automatically sends a DNDon and EventAgentLogout,
Workspace made several attempts to logout the voice DN. (IW-7414).

We dont know that, this feature is exactly done by tserver. Thats y asking, according to above quote from WDE 8.5 release notes this is done by t-server.  If its so, how can we overcome this through configuration.

The EventDNDOn is based on CTI message from Nortel PBX:
Make Set Busy Notification
same as is set the DNDOff while login.
