Title: Is there any way to check who disconnected the call agent or customer ?

Is there any way to check who disconnected the call agent or customer in TServer 8.0 when release-party-report is set to false.

I think that it depends on which type of T-Server and if devlink logs are enabled. Other than that, the only other way I know if through having the release-party-report enabled.

It is a SIP T-Server. Do we have any KVP which can tell this if release-party-report is disabled.

Check Tserver release notes
I know that depends on PBX at all. Yes, it is defined by a KVP on extensions attribute.

Just FYI: It is a SIP Switch only.

Yes, noted already. As said, go and check release notes, there is the answer.
Or do you expect me to read them to save your time?  ??? Don't remember from head, maybe someone else will while you read the RN

According to several T-Server 8 deployment guides there is application-level option (which is available since 8.0.001.00).

releasing-party-report

Default Value: false
Valid Values: true, false
Changes Take Effect: Immediately

Specifies whether T-Server reports Attribute Extension ReleasingParty in events EventReleased and EventAbandoned to indicate which party initiated the call release.


In SIP Server the feature is fully implemented in release 8.1.000.51 (from Release Notes):

This release contains the following new features or functionality:

Call release tracking. SIP Server supports reporting the identity of which party (agent or customer) is responsible for releasing a particular call. (ER# 284079505)

I know it works this way. But i have an call from customer who wants to know about release party. That time it was not set. So i am looking for the ways to check who released the call when releasing-party-report was disabled.

Why ? I mean you have an easy and worked solution: enable releasing-party-report. What is the reason to look for something different ?

If you still have sip logs, you can check where the BYE came from

As hsujdik mentioned above. In sip logs you should see where from has the BYE message came.
