Title: Genesys Administrator Extension

I have a problem when logging into gax. My gax db is up, i inout correct configuration server details. I also created an application named
gax in GA. But when i try to login to gax, it says cannot login. In my log it says client application name not found. But i put "default" as Default Client Application name in configuration server details. Can someone help me please?

Did you configure the gax.properties file, which is located in conf folder under installation folder of GAX application?

First login is with root not default. Please read docs

Hi Hieutx/All,

The solution to this issue is :-

We need to update gax.properties file as below :-

backup_port=2020
port=2020
backup_host=
host=GenesysServer1
app=<Name of the gax application>


Not sure whether this will help as of now because the post is way too old but thought of sharing the solution.
