Title: SIEBEL CTI INTEGRATION WITH GENESYS
Post by: rs954 on April 18, 2016, 06:51:30 AM
Hi guys,

I would like to know what all things(software's/hardware's) we need from the Genesys side to have Siebel CTI integration with genesys.

I am trying to get Siebel CTI toolbar by integrating with Genesys for Siebel chat and other facilities.

Answers would be appreciated.

Depends on used version and wanted funciton within the Siebel - in case the digital (non voice) is needed, you have to install the GPlus adapter and Gplus Gateway at least.

Thanks for the early reply.

We are using Siebel 8.1 version

And we want to enable the Siebel CTI toolbar in Siebel 8.1 version. Since we need a middle-ware for that we want to use the Genesys softwares.

So what would be the requirements(softwares from the Genesys side) for the Siebel 8.1 version.

As I wrote, at least you need to install the G+ adapter. Recommended is the UCS gateway. All you can find within the documentation for G+for Siebel CRM integration.

So a G+ adapter, a GPlus Gateway. Are there any more requirements or these two will do.

As i am a beginner in Siebel CRM field i have been given to configure chat inside Siebel 8.1

Help would be appreciated.

Of course you still need the Genesys environment as the background. For SiebelCRM you just need the mentioned components or just follow the documentation where is all described in great details (why asking for so general question on this forum?)
