Hello All, Is anyone recently upgraded Social media to version 8.5.3 ? if yes, are there any specific settings we need to do for Facebook Chat to work ?
I am facing issue where chats are coming to cloud and then to agent but getting error "Lost connection to Facebook" in workspace . Anyone experienced same ?

Since 8.5.2 the drivers are on cloud. Therefore you need to configure new settings and register your application on Genesys cloud. It is described on Web documentation.

Well cloud is only a bridge, you still need all your local services. They will digest the FB API for you and send same messages now. Faster adaptation to FB constant changes.

While you're upgrading 8.5.3, probably you'll get an error something like "Found no root post in batch", Genesys currently working on a fix. just fyi.
