Title: Genesys Spport Arabic Language

Our Chat Solution in inserting Survey data in database as "?????????? ??????" Or some other symbols if customer select Arabic language for Survey. As per my invesigation, UCS is responsible for it where we need to configure OS language loacle from English to Arabic - So UCS can handle Arabic Language.

If the understanding is correct, then what will hppen to English language survey records after OS language lacale change to Arabic ? Will English survey record start to come with "?????? ????????" or with othe symbols ?

Moreover, on same server we have other eServices, CTI and routing components - So OS language local will impact any other services ?

Appreciate if someone can share experienced with same scenario.

It depends on many factors, starting on what OS is used, what type of RDBMS is used, what is the database and server/client encoding, etc.

Is it means that there is nothing to install or configure on Genesys level like Genesys language pack or something else.

It only requires Database and OS language locale change ?

Yes, if database encoding for example doesn't support special characters then will have weird ones for your data
