SGGU.COM Server Migration

Hi, guys,

we have finished migrating to a higher capacity servers last night to compensate for a high level of traffic and continuous bombardment by spam bots. While we worked hard to preserve all the data, it seems like some people are accessing us using IP address and not domain name, and thus were able to post to the old system and not new.

If you are seeing SGGU.COM in "Maintenance Mode", it means you are connected to an old server, so kindly flush your DNS cache and try again. Overall, it seems like migration went without a major hiccup. We did lose about two new user registrations and several posts that were made during DNS switchover - sorry about that!!! I tried to add all the astray posts back to DB but if some of the are missing, can you please repost them?

We will be watching this forum closely for the next few days for any technical problems, and if you see something out of place, please contact us ASAP.

sorry about it, it seems like few slipped through... ::)
I am hoping that we will have enough capacity for the next four years or so on this server.
(same host, different plan)
