library for configuation server

Hello, folks!
One of my colleagues is looking into being able to retrieve person information, agent id, DN, etc from the configuration server. Can it be done using VB and tlibrary?

There are ways to do this. There is a seperate API that does transactions to the configserver and is licensed for Genesys PS implmentations only. If you need further assistance check with your Genesys rep.

The Config Server API ocx that is part of the softphone toolkit only allows for reading.

You can read from the ActiveX interface that is included with the toolkit.

(I am really typing a lot today, am I not!!! )
I have looked through Active X Toolkit, and I cannot figure out how to read a person settings and DNs. I noticed that we can access application information, but I would be damned if I knew how to get AgentID, DN, Person, etc... Can you provide me with a simple oneliner?

You cannot do it. You need to access CME database directly in order to retrieve that info.
