Hadoop And Bigdata Scope in Genesys
Adam G:
I don't work for Genesys...
Pretty sure their current training curriculum is very comprehensive - and very easy to find. Perhaps if you type in "Genesys University Training Curriculum" in Google in your browser?
Note to self: never underestimate the ability of others to ask questions about questions.
Kubig:
It depends on your relationship with Genesys. If you are a partner, the certification should be passed without any training visit before. In other cases, you have to visit training which are mentioned as required for specific certification. So, contact your Genesys person and ask for the approach for pass the certification.

...in all honesty, there is no substitute for experience...
Genesys training is good for the basics, but you can only learn how to develop, operate, administer and fix real issues by working in a real, operational environment. In my past experience, the training labs assume that everything is working perfectly - and that is never the case in the real world.

As someone who hires Genesys people, I'd much rather hire someone smart and driven and teach them to use Genesys than hire someone who's been and done the training. Genesys training teaches you the "Genesys vocabulary", but you need to learn to really use it in the real world.
There is no greater learning experience than knowing there are 1,000+ people sitting around unable to work and queues building up to an hour long, all waiting for you to fix whatever it is you just broke. ;)
