Loss of Agent sync after losing/restarting configuration server

hello,

We recently took our primary site offline to perform a none genesys related upgrade, however after it was brought back online, a number of services lost synchronisation with the statserver/configuration servers.  During this work, the primary config server was restarted (inc cfg dbserver) however the backup remained online throughout.
One example was some agents not showing correctly in dynamic views in ccpulse (ie when a skill linked to that view was removed, yet agent remained on show).
Another was some agents not being recognised as outbound agents when the relevant skill was added (ocs made no dials when agents in ready state).
Both of these were resolved by restarting the respective statservers.
The cause is linked to the work performed (taking site offline).
However only some services were affected, but no idea why.
The release notes do not have this scenario for later versions.
Anyone else experienced this, or know of the root cause?

the version we have is as follows:

Statserver v8.1.200.47
Configuration server v8.1.200.24
OCS 8.1.500.21

thanks.

:-X
Logs will be the ones I would go to
When this happens to me is due StatServer connection problems. A reset fixes it and as only happens on maintenances no big deal
