Solution Specific bqy Files

Can anybody tell me, how to use solution specific .bqy files in real time setup. Example I want to add my custom tables in place of T_Agent_Day, V_Agent_day and O_Agent_day.

Is there any shorcut method by changing the physical table name or using datamodel or any other way.

I tried but my customized colums are not coming in. Is it the only way to remove those tables and doing the manual work in brio.

when I changed any table, I mean just removed and added the same table. Then surprisingly the objects are not selectable at CCAnaylzer EIS. This screen will be coming after you enter oce file, username and password, where u need to pass from date and todate and add button not functioning.

Could anybody got the same prob

I know it is shocking to all of us, but Brio is pretty sucky at this. Once you remove or recreate a table, Brio template is rendered useless.

There are several ways to do get custom tables or fields in, but if you really need to add some custom tables and not waste too much time, you will need to use Genesys RGA template. It ain't that bad. I would suggest avoiding making your own tables in Datamart at ALL costs let ETL do the work for you. Otherwise, you are really in for a very long and sleepless journey.

And after you get accustomed with Brio itself (which is a feat of its own) you can create pretty much anything you want. We have had to use Genesys data with custom data imported from other DB systems, and even though we were able to do it, I would strongly suggest to really think twice before trying to even to consider creating your own Brio report.

Yep, you are absouletly correct. I started with RGA now it self after knowing from you, Still here also I need help in customizing the Report assistant screen. I mean here I can not select from date, to date and Add Button.

Anybody, pl send me or paste the code for using Report Assistant Add button, from and To date buttons functioning.Or if I use the same code which was in canned reports to make this work.
