CCA Filters in CCPulse

I have 2 seperate environments, one running CCA 6.1 and the other 6.5. The 6.1 version has picked up the (StatServer/DMA) Filters when we upgraded from 5.1 and I can use them freely in CCA/CCPulse. However, the 6.5 version didn't import the Filters when I upgraded from 5.1 to 6.5.

I have:

Added the Filters in DMA.
Synchronized DMA with StatServer.
Created a Template in DMA, utilizing the Filters on Route Points and enabled/activated it.
Checked StatServer Options and can see the Filters.
Checked ETL Assistant and set up Purging, away from the default.

Still I don't have any Filters on Route Points in CCPulse and DMA is not collecting/aggregating stats for the new Template.

Did I miss something out? Should I just restart the whole environment instead of cherrypicking (so far I have restarted DataSourcer, StatServer, and ETL Service)

Thanks!

  • Hello,

try to check if filters are accepted; in the StatServer you use for reporting, change debuglevel option (Options>statserver) to all, restart it and check if in the log file (verbose=all) you see "filter x added" or "ignored". You could also check DataSourcer logs for filters accepted.

Sorry tried everything here and still no joy. As is quite normal, it's probably just one little iddy biddy thing I've missed but I can't see it.

    Hmmpph!

It *was* a small thing I'd missed. Whilst creating the KVP settings in DMA, I had forgotten the " either side of the Result Type.

    Works fine though, now!
