HELP! SCS 7.0

Help!

Starting SCS 7.0.1.006 generates an error in the log stating that "License are not found". We do not use SNMP, so what can it possibly be? Licenses are only needed in case on is using SNMP builtin feature, aren't they? Please help!

Don't quote me on this but I believe that v7.0 licenses require FEATURES within the licence file, which may include SCS.

On the other hand, if you have recently upgraded your license manager, you may find it is being referred to by SCS in the wrong location check your SCS settings for a location of the license file itself (usually referred to as "7260@xxxxx" where xxxxx is the Network designator of your license (FlexLM) Server)...

The most common mistake with installation SCS is having SCS's reundancy set to Warm or Hot, which requires that you purchase ha edundancy license from Genesys.

in your log file, check if it tells you what kind of license you are missing!

Ok, so just to summarize it

if you get a MLSNMP error and you not planning on using SNMP or hotstandby(or warm), just ignore it. I think Genesys recommends the same thing.
