Has anybody had any issues with running outbound in multiple countries.

We have a dialler based in Ireland that dials multiple countries, but the Greek fonts are always displayed wrong( you can see it in the OCS logs)

Also we have a dialler in Germany that dials Germany only and the German fonts are also wrong in OCS.

Has anybody come across similiar issues

  • We are using a Japanese outbound dialler and everything works fine.
I do recall that we did have a problem with outbound list having garbled names and we were able to trace it back to Oracle charset settings we did not set it to the right Japanese encoding when we were creating our DB.

I am going to ask our engineers if it is possible to store several different language encodings in the same DB. What DB are u using?

  • Hi,

Uncheck the option "automatic ANSI to OEM conversion" using the MSSQL Client Network Utility. Do it on the server where the Genesys DBServer runs that are used for Outbound. Restart DBServer and OCS and check again it SHOULD be OK now.
