I need help with virtual agent group.
We have virtual agent group defined in Config Manager and it works.
When I try to expand vag in our config manager (7.0.100.06), it does not show agents that belong to it.

I thought that with Config Server 7.0 and above (we have 7.0.100.08) it is possible to see agents inside virtual agent groups, yet I cannot. Can someone please tell me why?

I recall being able to see it on 7.0.100.05 version. Is there some kind of option that I am forgetting or is there some sort of limit as to total number of agents that config server will list per group?

For reference: virtual agent gorup is defined correctly and has agents in it. The reason why I know it is because we can monitor it in CCP and in realtime window can see the total number of agents logged into it.

Hi,

it should be supported starting from Configuration Server 7.1.0.

I was able to confirm what PK was saying:

on our client site, VAG does not list any people under VAGs, even though virtual-skills definitions are correct and version is the same as we have in our lab.
The reason why I know that VAGs have some people there fore sure is both by checking CCP and the fact that the routing there targets VAGs and calls are routed to the agents in those VAGs without a problem.

I am enclosing a screenshot of how it looks in our lab - pretty VAGs with agents underneath (  ::) )
Why would this happen? Is there some sort of problem with config server when it comes ot having thousands of agents and CME not able to properly process it?

BTW, it is 7.0 and not 7.1

VAGs have been a feature of  [b]Stat Server[/b] since 5.x release; that's why you are able both to monitor VAGs in CCP and route interactions to agents beloging to them (URS asks SS about them). This doesn't have anything to do with viewing agents of those groups in CME. Anyway since Release Number 7.1.000.07 also Configuration Server supports them:

New In This Release
    * Configuration Server supports Virtual Agent Groups. (ER# 86860). [/i]

Why you were able to expand VAGs with an earlier version...well, this is another issue  ;D
With CS 7.0.100.12 I can't see them.

This make sense then! I was wondering why I could see agents here but not on client site. Must be a reason for it.
Upgrading configserver to 7.1 probably would be the best way to resolve this problem. Are there any DB changes that are needed to be made or can I just swap 7.0 with 7.1?

no DB change should occur between 7.0 and 7.1.

    e had a problem whereby we could not see the contents of VAGs also, and it was fixed with a new version of config manager.  From the release notes....

    7.1.000.09
    Configuration Manager now displays members of Virtual Agent Groups. The new Script tab for groups of this type allows you to enter skill expressions for their members. (ER# 86860)

    We still have the problem that if you add the scripted skill to agents, they dont update in the contents view of the VAG. It only gives accurate info for the agents who have the skill when the VAG is created.  So it hasnt been much help but thought you may want to know of the above
