Hi,

We are using CCA in our call center. I was wondering is there any reporting tool genesys has that will generate reports off from datamart?

I know one tool is called BRIO. Do I need to buy license to use BRIO?
Is there any other reporting tool available? I prefer web based reporting tool. Thanks.

  • Brio is a tool that is supposed to come with Genesys as CCpulse does, contact licencing@genesyslab.com to receive your installation license.
You can use any other tool to report, it's up to you, the benefit of Brio is that Genesys provides predifined templates.
For other reporting tools you will have to do your own templates.

If you attended Genesys training, the license key for BRIO is printed nicely on the page in that big spiral book that you get. Really useful, but I wonder
how can a company that generates most of ifs revenue from licenses have such a blatant disregard for other company licensing policies.

  • It is in one of the manuals, but I believe it is from the "Creating Custom Reports" Course...  And I can't find the manual!  :-\

  • Hi Vivek,
As you stated Brio (now renamed Hyperion since it was bought over) is the tool provided by Genesys as part of the CCA Reporting solution. In terms of licenses, Brio allows you to query only objects created in the Datamart database by the etl runtime. If you want to query any other objects you need to contact Hyperion to get licenses. The document explaining Genesys licensing will be helpful to give you a full view on this.
You can in fact use any reporting tool that you want, however the way etl runtime creates tables the data is not normalized. There is a very good document to explain how to do normalize date if you use filters. The document title is: Reporting 7.2 Reference Manual. Read chapter 1.
