We have an 4400 PBX and some times when we log in an agent using the softphone, we can see that agent logged correctly but the hardphone display does not show that the agent is logged, we have to logout form softphone, then login manually on the hard phone then logout manually then login with the softphone and everything is fine.
The other issue is that some times we have the agent as not monitored at the ccpulse.
I found a post in this forum that says is necesary to have an ACD Position with the same name as the agent login, actually we are not using ACD positions at all, could be this the reason for the two issues we have?

On Genesys you have to create on DN a ACD Position object with the CCD or RSI Agent number.
Then an agent login with same number
Then a person add this agent login. On the person the employee Id and the username must be the CCD or RSI agent number.
A ACD queue that is the number of the Processing Group.
The ProACD as an extension and it's respective place.

Disable password request for the agent and manage the password issue from Genesys.
