Does anyone know whether or not you can create your own parameters for thresholds?

At the moment, i notice values like 40 & 30 etc but i would like to set the parameter to 50.

Can this be done?

Thanks

So i have found the answer to my question.

For anyone else having the same problem.... use the "threshold wizard" to "create from existing template", and it lets you modify the code.

Cheers

Create a new one from the existing, and try again.
Check you have writting permissions to the folder or network path where the STG files are stored. The path can be read from CCPulse Application Options tab on CME.

Im sure it has something to do with this... its been set up here to specifically look for a K drive (which is what its been mapped as - dont ask why it doesnt just point to the server, its allegedly quicker this way) and i didnt have one mapped.

this problem isnt happening on 2 machines that did have K drive mapped.

However, i have since mapped the K drive and ran the CCPulse Fix executable and still having the problem.

I have raised a fault with Siemens and genesys.

Lets see how long it takes.

Thanks for your help though.

Hi DarkAngel,

Have you checked your permissions in terms of the application. You may have been setup as a User rather than an administrator. That may stop you from saving things.

But can you write on that K folder?
Are the network users the same?
Do they belong to the same domain group?
Can you configure your CCPulse application on CME to use a local folder on the PC (for test) and see if the problem persist?

I dont seem to have permission to write to the drive, but the odd thing is, one of the machines that i can create new thresholds on, can't write to the K drive either.

this is a conundrum

super administrator is an Access Group, rather than an application rank. Though if you know that you do not have write access to the folder then that would be the first thing that I would get sorted :]

Yeah its a strange thing, but even more strange is the fact that other machines also do not have write access to the drive and yet they can create new thresholds...

i do have admin access though.

Are they logging into the same ccpulse application? They may be using another ccpulse application that has the files stored locally rather than on a shared drive.
I guess that depending on how ccpulse is delivered to your pc, you may not need the drive mapped, just need read / write access.

Yes at my workplace we have separate applications by depts, all of them run from the network drives, and we even have one that runs from the local machine's drive, but that's for testing purposes. So you may want to be sure you're logging on the correct application.
