Migration of Genesys 6 to 6.5 / 7

Hello,

It will be of great help if any of could help me.

This is a mutlisite contact center, they want to upgrade their Genesys 6 to 6.5 or 7. I would like to know what are the steps required to upgrade, and also the client is using a custom built adapter for Seibel connectivity. The Switch being used is Avaya G3Si. Please help me out in defining a scope of work for upgrataion.
Will be gratefull if any of you can help me upgradation document.

Are you using GPlus for Siebel or a thirdparty driver?
If you are planning on upgrading to 6.5 and you are using GPlus you have really nothing to do, because the layout is the same, the products are the same and a lot of bugs have been fixed. Why did you migrate to 6 and not wait to 6.1 or 6.5?

Sorry, iam upgrading from G5.5 to G6.1 or 6.5

Genesys will recommend going to 6.5, what version of Siebel are you using? When I moved from 5.1 to 6.5 I didn't have any problems talking to Siebel 99 but I was using the COM/OLE. We are now moving to Siebel 7.5 and trying to avoid the cost of the GPlus adaptor but haven't been able to figure it out yet.
