Hi,

idea is very simple: think of a building with one big PBX in it. All of them need to use telephone, but obviously, 2nd floor does not want 3rd floor to see what they are doing.

Tenants in Genesys are like floors in a buildings - all of them are using the same PBX, but you can separate them so that they would not be aware of each other. So, in a nutshell, yes, you can do it.

Thank you for giving me responded Victor
I want you posed another question if his disturbs you not
I apologize for my English I am francophone I use Google to translate on English:)

- What I want to know are what I need a specific version of the T-Server? Now I have the version 7.x.

- Separation will be at what level? Is what will be two completely independent environments with all their objects?

- For the administration of the system is that we can separate the two environments on CME, and that each user has access administers on its party

Thanks in advance

hi anisdz,

there is no need for a specific version, but i think at least version 7.2 should be taken (only my opinion, multi tenant works also with older versions)

The seperation is not by Environment. A Tenant in Genesys is the CME Tree Ressources. So you see, the seperation affects only Persons, Accesgroups, Skills, etc.

So you configure the Access in a way that only people from tenant 1 cann see the objects in tenant 1 and so on...

Hi Anisdz,

You can stay on your current version of TServer. I would suggest you to check TServer's release notes for possible issues related to multi-tenant support fixes in newer releases.

From the configuration perspective you have to change your Configuration Server for multi-tenant version. Installation package is available on Management Framework CD. That version allows you to create separate configuration objects like agents, persons, switches, DN etc. for each tenant (see help for Configuration Manager).
