Hi guys,
Does anybody knows if there are some Linux version of ConfigManager, IRD, SCI, OCM, etc etc?
I have a customer that works mainly on Linux and would like to avoid the use of windows OS

I'm Afraid, that Genesys Clients are only available for Windows OS. But at least you can run a Windows OS in a Virtualbox or something, because the Clients do not have to be a seperate Host.

Nop, I tried and didn't work.
I needed IE for it to work. And then another and another...I dropped the towel

I hope that in the future, Genesys will make clients for Linux and not only for Windows.
Best way is to use virtualization (vmware or similar)

I am surprised Genesys is actually considering Linux since it is going into rather vague place where Asterisk rules. Given Genesys' dedication to SIP T-Server, I wonder if their TServer for Asterisk was a really smart call...

Sure it might get some users... Yeah, right.

Well it was not exactly for Asterisk, they wanted to get into the SIP cheap protocol market.
In fact this is interesting for commercial guys where expending a lot of mney on hardware is not a must and can enter now into another level of customers with a good solution. I'm still a little hard to put it into production as a PC will never work as a PBX in matters of stability and response time. You know ASterisk can get only around 80 calls in simultaneous with a beast of PC hardware, a normal PBX can handle more than 1000 with a basic hardware.
I have been given the task to try to integrate Alcatel with this SIP TServer for using alcatel sip phones, going ok so far. But I'll think twice for putting it into production, however commercial guys just think in a different way.
