  • On VB6, select components and check Genesys ActiveX Desktop Toolkit, can't use StatServer or any other without the correct license.

  • I development one application that alredy created with this component, and it was working correctly. I think when the applicantion was created the license are correct.

The application was created in visual basic 5.0 (windows 95) , and I development in vb 6.0 (windows XP).

I think (but I not sure) the control needs an update.

Do you know if there is some update for this control?

    Thanks,

  • Steps are:
Install ActiveX Desktop Toolkit Software (which includes examples and some documentation)
Run VB6 and select the component
Be sure that only it is selected, if you have selected someone else like StatServer as said, you will get that message, in that case you need to acquire the respective license for it.

  • If you see you have selected Genesys DBServer controls, this as StatServer needs a license to be used. Load the license and try again.
