Dear All,

does anybody know any way to connect a Genesys framework based infrastructure to Cisco's GeoTel?

Running a Nortel Networks Meridian 81C Cisco told us that we do definitely need a MEI (Meridian Event Interface) which is only available with Symposium or Meridian Max. We are now searching a way to connect the Cisco environment to the Genesys framework.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Peter

Why? Doesn't Geotel ( Cisco ) provide CTI solution?

  • Yes, they do.
We are acting as a prime outsource in Europe.
We do run Nortel Network Meridians with the Genesys Framework. In one of our sites our customer (!) demands us to connect our PBX to his (!) GeoTel (Cisco) system. The way to do this from Nortel's point of view is to provide a link interface based on MAX / MEI. Of course we don't want to invest into another MAX / MEI solution while we have the Genesys framework in place.
