SCI Not connected db server

Hello

I am new in this forum and my engliis is compretly horrible

I connect to SCI qnd the top in the the window says Not connected to DB Server

And if the db server is connectted icqn see it and ican stop it , but if it is stopped I cqnnot started

    • add the genesys server name to your hosts (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) file and try again. Genesys will try to connect by server name and if can't reach it will fail.

    I have tried it, but it is not the solution

    I think it is something about dbserver_log because in top of the windows allways appears:

    SCS[scs_server port-scs] and DBServer[dbserver port_dbserver port]
