Spanish VOX files for GVP

Hi guys,

Does any of you know from where I can get spanish VOX files with all the jsp files for definitions and that stuff? Last Genesys recommendation was to re-record english VOX files into spanish however that was not successful as the way spanish is speaked is different from english mostly on numbers speech. Any suggestion will be welcome.

Hi cavagnaro,

I was facing the same situation a year ago with my language (Czech). It's necessary not only re-record the VOX files but also modify JavaScript function that combines the VOX files to handle correctly specifics of your language.

The JavaScript file that has to be modified is called "PlayBuiltinTypes.js" and you can find it somewhere in GVP Studio folder. I don't have access to GVP Studio now so not able to point you to the right folder.

Yes René,
I know which file you are talking about, but was wondering if there is already a place or person who has done the job, tested and implemented to go more quickly and avoid the test and play thing...
Genesys is short on this issue...
