is the Genesys version 7.2 set up to allow static break/lunch scheduling?

Hi,

if you mean "static" as in pre-determined time, then if my memory serves me right, you could do it ever since the 6.1 version (or maybe even before that) under break definitions.

There are two of them:

meals - this is as static as it gets.
alternative breaks - pretty close to static, where you define when the break MUST start using the beginning of their shift as a reference point.

    If your trying to schedule a break between set times for say the canteen openning times use the meal settings as this uses actual times within its configuration.   

    If you trying to get a break to occur x hours into a shift regardless of actual time of day then use the Break settings.  If it needs to be 'fixed' in that schedule just reduce the window that break can happen in so that it is only possible in at one time.
