Getting a Queue 'vq name' is not found on Switch 'switch name'(Tenant 'Resources') error only when I open the report in cca.  Can open the report else where fine. Is built in CME is showing in object table. Any one had this before?

  • I read the info but it didn't like the same issue overall.  I wanted to post what really happened on our issue.
A few weekends before our Config server rebooted over the weekend. (not planned and our server folks didn't let  us know) When Config came back up it it did not reconnect to our SServ CCA.  It did connect to SServ Prim, SServ rpt, T Serv and URS. Anything new being added to Config was not showing up in CCA only objects that were already created.  Thought I would post this in case someone has a similar issue.

  • Config Server only connects to DBServer for reading configuration DB, the rest of components connects to it to read permissions and configurations using Message Server. I will insist that this seems a permission problem where your applications doesn't have the permissions to read these new objects.

  • no, it really was not a permission's issue.  Once CCA was rebooted it established the connection with Config and we started getting those stats again.  The new objects where in new people or new vq's in existing call centers that we have access to. Per our server team, it was a lost connection to Config.  Since they are the keepers of permission's there is no way for me to tell if it was permission's.  I can say that the loss of stats coincides with reboot of the Config server.

  • If that's the case, you may want to set up an explicit connection to Config Server from your Stat Server and configure ADDP.
There is an implicit connection in between all the applications and Config Server, but we've had that problem too.

The other thought would be to upgrade your versions. If I recall correctly, most of the 7.0 (and I think 7.1) applications would not reconnect once they lost the [implicit] config server connection, until the apps were restarted. However, since we installed 7.5, we have not had the problem - the apps have reconnected properly after a config server restart.
