  • When u load the "G6.1 ActiveX Interface Starter Application" u get the sample code in both VB and VC++ which could help u to develop a customized SoftPhone. It should really help u.

I'm currently developing a softphone which will be both voice and email enabled. Although being developed for a specific customer it's being made genericenough for use by other clients. It should be complete are around Christmas.

  • I am looking for a quote for email enabled SoftPhone for G6.
Also, if there are any other interesting 3rd party applications that you think would be able to enhance G6, please email me its description and price as well.

    Thanks,
    Vic

  • Elix has is own commercial Genesys compatible softphone product for Genesys 5.15x 6.1 on Nortel M1 and Aspect. Support for other switches is under development. It uses CME for setup and Stats Server to support a desktop stats display by agent group. The product emulates a number of the M1 ACD options lost due to the use of the 2nd DN. You mentioned interest in purchasing something, which is why I have responded. Please contact me if you are interested in more info. Rob T.

  • You can also check out the following website: http://www.teleap.it, there is a link for the english version of the site. They have an ongoing development for Genesys SoftPhone applications. Their SoftPhones use all the Genesys functionalities: Voice(Inbound, Outbound), email, chat, corowse, ... When a new major version of Genesys is released within a month they release there SoftPhone with all the new functionalities available.

  • The toolbar that has been developed by TeleAp is all Genesys supported media enabled(they also have a toolbar for Cisco). It also supports outbound. The neet part is that they also have adapters for CRM applications. They integrate with Siebel Vantive and others. They also follow very closely Genesys. Whenever a new major release is made available TeleAp delivers an Upgraded version of the TeleAp within a month.
