config crash

is there any possibility of config server getting crashed if i install webfolder in Internet explorer 5

I don't see any relevance with directory structure.
If you are using IE5, which version of OS are you running?

Is there any reason you need to install it on the web folder?

no its config server 6.5.

actually config got crashed, and i see in the application log that just after 2 mins after config's crash theres an installation of webfolder.

just wanted to confirm if this is the reason for the crash

I wouldn't install it within web folder, if I were you.
