IVR T server showing as service unavailable in SCI
« on: November 05, 2008, 03:27:57 PM »

Last week I rebooted all of our servers, where I got this problem. All services in SCI seems to be started except the IVR t server. But this service seems to be started in windows services but sci shows this Service unavailable. Tried restarting LCA but this doesn't worked out. We are using 7.5 GVP and behind the switch configuration. Any ideas????

Thanks,
Chandra

Hi Chandra,

Status "Service unavailable" means that IVR TServer is up and running but client (GVP in your case) isn't connected = IVR TServer isn't able to provide expected services.

You should check your GVP and logs of IVR TServer to find out a reason.

R.

Hi Chandra,

Yes post the I-server log first. Make sure that the logging is on the highest level.

I don't see your GLI server and client in the log.
Please post your TserverIVR options.

As indicated out IVR t server status is unavailable in SCI. We have interaction routing that goes DB and all the data is logged in to DB. Now for some reason we are only getting blank rows for the calls.
When debugging the routing strategy, it looks good. Does this has any relation with the I serverclient? Please help me this trouble shooting.

When debugging strategy shows Entered calls=26, Calls routed=0 Calls abandoned=26. Please indicate a path for me, I was stuck in between. ???

Thanks,
Chandra

How many channels you are using, because you have only 1 license configured?

Hi jbobinsk,

We are using 24 ports in this environment. Probably 24 channels ;)

I just want to update you guys...The issue is resolved. When i have reviewed the CFA logs there is a message saying GQA is not running. I just restarted this manually and connection has been established. Now status is showing as started. :)
Thanks for the help. I like this forum and found very useful. I will keep posting.... :D

Thanks,
Chandra
