Hi All
Would some one please see if these steps are correct to route a call from IVR to Genesys/IRD and then finally send it to an Agent's extension.

(1) From IVR app , sending to a RoutePoint say RP_A  using Queque call . That route point (RP_A) was created in CME under Switches folder.

(2) For that route point ie.RP_A,  a strategy was created say RP_Strategy_A which will load and then send it simply to an Agent Extension say 2004 which is created under Person folder in CME.

What else is missing here because it is not loading that strategy. Would some one Please provide clear steps. Thanks.

I think this is very similar to a thread I have already answered, this evening... it must be infectious! :)

Please see http://www.sggu.com/smf/index.php/topic,3016.0.html

- you may have to translate some of the line items, to match your criteria but checking the IVR, Switch, ACD and the Strategy itself would be useful - as well as making sure that your Agent and RP is registering via your TServer, with FlexLM...

FlexLM is the manager of the licenses on Genesys (and many other systems). Is where you load your license file and this license file defines what you can do and not do and how many of them you can do.

Hi, Raj,

I think I have to agree with Cavagnaro here. Chances are you do not have Genesys license and your routing point is not registered... I am surprised that you could start URS at all! But, since you did not say that your URS did not start, and you are talking about strategy not loading, when you start up URS in your logs do you see EventRegistered for those RPs?

Sorry for my late response. But I am able to load the strategy from the URS though. If the issues is with "Genesys license and your routing point is not registered" then would it allow even to load a strategy from URS itself ?

In the URS logs I could see EventEstablished too.

Yes, it will allow the loading but not the monitoring and less the use of that strategy.
Check your licenses with your Genesys team

Thank you so much. One last question : In CME, where do I check whether license file has been loaded ?

Under FlexLM folder there is an application LMTools
Have you took any Genesys basic training? How are you doing this installation??? If you don't know that I'm very concerned of what kind of installation you are going to do...

Thank you Cavagnaro. Truly I am not doing any installations. I am trying to trouble shoot the issues here. Basically I am JEE/IVR developer.

You are very correct. I went to CME and I see a folder  C:\flexlm but it does not have anything inside it.

Contact your Genesys support, they will have to give a better approach on the main problem and know how and why it was installed in that way.

- I have assumed you are using Windows as your OS?

If so, I think you can still run FlexLM from the command prompt, too - just try it: "lmutil.exe"
