SIP Server and multi-site

Ok, guys,

this is getting VERY ridiculous - supposedly, Genesys SIP Server 7.5 does not allow for attach data to be transferred between sites... At least, there seems to be some sort of bug that causes a lot of things to go wrong, because it cannot detect a call from another site as internal, thus labeling it as inbound.

And, to make matters worse, it is the very version that we are currently using at one of our sites. Upgrading T-Server to later version would result in huge cost because we will need to modify SIP phone (since Genesys was kind enough to change SIP / Event Signalling sequence for SIP T-Server in-between minor releases), so I was wondering, and hoping that someone else out there has a similar problem and managed to resolve it... Somehow...

Anyone?
Vic

Hi Vic,

I worked on a project with SIP Server 7.5 in multi-site environment last year and there were no issues with Attached Data. Could you post here some log covering call transfer with Attached Data being lost? What exact version of SIP Server you have?
