GVP Changes from 7.2 to 7.6 or 7.5

I just was smacked with two fairly major changes in the past two days on a 7.2 upgrade to 7.6 while still in the lab.

[li]SIP REFER handling has changed from 7.2 to 7.6[/li]
[li]7.6 no longer stores the TTS speech in a local temporary file to play back, it simply sends out the TTS RTP packets after receiving them from TTS server.

I'm fairly well put off by these changes not being highlighted/summarized.  I did a quick check with a Genesys PS person that knows GVP and after much very specific prompting, they had an "oh yeah!" moment.

Documentation has always sucked at Genesys, but now it's costing hundreds of thousands of dollars for larger customers and it is really causing me to take a look at alternatives to Genesys

Now I am back in the mode of determining if Genesys or Avaya is cheating on the SIP specs.  So far in the past three years it is on the stretch or cheating side: Genesys 3 and Avaya 2.  Any changes in SIP standard (or any standard for that matter, including VXML, MRCP etc) should be highlighted in a separate section in documentation.

Anyone have any other insights that they would like to share regarding GVP 7.2 to 7.6 changes?

There may be a case of beer in here somewhere for you.....  ;D
