Ok, so WHO KNEW THAT AN IVR DRIVER NOW REQUIRES AND IVRSERVER?!
I didn't. I figured that driver is a driver, and did not even bother to check it in G6.1. Boy was I wrong...

Now that I am stuck with an impossible task of testing this monstrosity, has anyone already used the IVR Driver/Server in G6.1? What problems have you encountered? What should I be beware of ?

Thanks,
Vic

I am getting a bit confused with the IVR Ports... In case of Nortel Meridian, wouldn't they be ASD Position? Why is it that in CME, if I use IVR Wizard, I can only select Extensions?

Extensions should be fine as long as your IVR can handle it. The programmed extensions will need AST and IAPG 1 in the Meridian.

Dan,

I am a bit confused. Is it possible to log into an extension on meridian? Wow!!! But, how about routing the calls from ACD queue? Wouldn't you need to be logged into an ACD queue in order to get the calls from it?

  • No need to log in to the extension. I think as long as it has AST you can route calls to it. Its just another extension. Just like routing to an extension on an ACD set. I think it is create a place for each DN, then create a group of places with the DN's then route to it.
