GVP to Avaya transfer

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with ISCC in following similar deployment/scenario and working?-

GVP: Behind the Avaya Switch, IPCS with SES, as Switch1 in CME
Avaya is created as Switch2 in CME.

1. Call lands on Avaya routing point - 9999@Switch2
2. URS xfers the call to GVP place group for treatment (ISCC works fine here and treatment plays correctly).
3. Agent(In Avaya) becomes available and Strategy/URS sends RequestInitiateTransfer to GVP switch.

I have configured ISCC - route transaction from GVP swith to Avaya. With this config GVP switch is getting access number for the URS transfer request from Avaya T-Server correctly but after that it gives me an error 'Unsupported Operation'.

Not sure what is wrong. Could not find much documentation around this and tried with several other transaction types but nothing seems to work.

Thank You

Hi,

I'm not sure your configuration is correct based on your description. You wrote that GVP is deployed in "behind" mode so it means that GVP ports are directly monitored by T-Server for Avaya. IVR T-Server is used mainly for transfer of UserData and CTI functions on GVP side. It means that you don't need ISCC for call transfer as call is monitored by T-Server for Avaya and sits on Avaya extension all the time.

Could you post here more details about your configuration and logs of T-Server and IVR T-Server?

R.
