Hi all,
I am looking at the ability to set the capacity rule on DNs of type "trunk" used for inter sip server communications.  Can anyone tell me what happens to the sip traffic when the capacity rule is reached?  I dont know if the traffic is rejected or what?  I also looked to see if I could get any kind of alarm to trigger based on a log event for this breach of capacity but couldnt finmd any mention of a log event for this scenario, anyone know if there is one?

What do you mean by a "capacity rule"? You want to limit the ammount of calls?

Hi there

The latest SIP T-Serevr version is support capacity and capacity-group option on trun DN-type. The result of the over-capacity call is the same as the your default system wrong routing behaviour.

Hi all,
So the call that is deemed as over the assigned capacity on a trunk DN between SIPserver A and SIPserver B, will be defaulted based on the routing rules defined on the originating SIPServer?

exactly. but also don't forget about active participation the URS in the routing process.
