hi folks,

does anybody has some experiences to share about interaction server's 'event logger', introduced in 7.6.1.
is there useful information for reporting, you won't find in GTL Datamart (iWD 7.6.x)?
how can i calculate estimated database size for max log level?
any known issues/recommendations/upshots ?

cheers

phil

Short answer is Yes. Data Mart covers reports about task processing in GTL environment according to GTL state model. In Genesys part (business process, strategies) you may also have quite complex configuration and processing logic. Interaction server's 'event logger' can give you all details about what happened there.

To evaluate the size (in terms of number of records) multiply your work items number onto number of reporting events per interaction (proportional to business process complexity). For more information check Reporting Toolkit documentation. It has description of many stat-types that maybe retrieved from logging DB data.

Interaction server's 'event logger' will be the source of data for iWD Data mart in 8.0

  • Hi Yevgeniy,

That is sad news. I would rather see EOL for iWD datamart.

It's the goal but not so fast. The plus is that it suppose to work for any types of interactions.
