So we have just began using outbound, and are running all of our campaigns in preview mode.

The agents are dialing from the vanilla agent desktop.

We have now dialed through all the leads in the few campaigns we have running once, and now no leads are being presented to the agents when the click a campaign in agent desktop.  They get the message 'No contact avaialble on campaign xxxxx'

Viewing the calling list info in OCM you can see that all leads have been dialed once, attempt field is 1.

We have treatments to retry call result of "answering machine detected" for the first 3 attempts.  However, something in those treatments must not be configured properly as they are not serving up any leads after the first attempt.

Should be be redial or retry as the "apply to record' value?  Number is sequence 1, cycle attempt i've tried lots of values (thought increasing it may help) interval 8 hours, increment 0.  trying to state that record can be served up for another dial anytime 8 plus hours after attempt 1 has been set to answering machine detected.

I've got to be missing something basic here....  help?

hi nemix,

it should be redial.  Further you might want to reduce the interval in Treatment's General properties. if it's too long, you have to wait long for next call.
Calling List properties should be checked for Maximum Attempts in General tab. Also, check Treatments  tab in there, if treatments are rly applied on that calling list.

In addition, there might be also records which had not a answering machine detected but there was a busy end. Im not 100 % sure, but i'd guess if no treatment for the busy result is configured, those record won't be dial again. Disagreements?
