Console log off causes ICS Contact Server service to exit

We are using ICS Contact Server at version 6.5.3, running as a service under Windows 2003.

When a user logs off teh console, it generates a CTRL_LOGOFF_EVENT event, which causes the JVM to shut down, as it is not handled. Other JVM applications (EmailServerJava, for example) catch the event and do not exit.

I have tried using the -Xrs java option to try to get the JVM (running at version 1.4.2) to ignore the event, but it does not work.

Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, how did you stop it happening? I have asked Genesys but they have no answers apart from not using the console.

We cannot upgrade yet, as the associated version of SAP that Gplus interfaces with is old and incompatible.

It is due to be upgraded in a few months, and only then can we upgrade to MCR.
