Agent Status in GAD

Hello,

For anyone using GAD (7.6), how does an agent determine what status they are in?

The obvious way is to have the GAD window open on the screen so it can be viewed however if the window is minimized it is no longer visible.

Is there a way to display this anywhere without having to open the window?  I thought it could be modified so when minimized the status is displayed on that bar at the bottom of the screen?

We are anticipating agents will not realise they are still in a not ready status if the window is not open and it will take space on the screen when we need to use it for other applications.  if we reduce the window size, the agent could then have to increase when marking the interaction complete or initiating transfers/consults.

Thanks,
WA

I think that looking in the window is the only way  :(

Why don't you force them ready after a set period?

We'll be using a freeware application to switch between each window using the click of a mouse button to get round it.

I think Interaction Workspace uses a skin/widget so the status can be displayed at any point within the sceen.

Thanks,
