I am having problems with not receiving calls to Genesys TServer from the Siemens switch. Does anyone have any advice on solving this problem?

  • Which Callbridge Version do you use for your CTILink ?
    Did you check CallbridgeCSTA LinkStatus or CallbridgeLogFiles ?
    Is your HicomSoftwareinterface (xappl,cptp) well configured?

  • Callbridge 3.15
    What should I be seeing as tthe link status or in the callbridge log files to know that this is working correctly?
    Also is the hicomsoftware interface (xappl, cptp) config files and where can you view these files?

    Thanks for your help.

  • You should be able to open the CallBridge CBAdmin program and on the menu bar there should be a Status>View option. Don't quote me exactly - I'm doing this from memory! This will bring up a little dialog box called Link Status. Link Status should have a green letter Y, as should App 1 Status. This will tell you if your CTI link is up. If you do not see 2 green "Y"s in the Link Status dialog box, go to the menu bar and look at the logs, especially the Error, System, and Debug logs. This should give you some idea what your problem is. Good luck!

  • There are 2 possibilities:
    1.)Linkstatus to TServer (signed via CBadmin->"Configuration"->
    "Callbridge Status/Statistics"->"CSTA Application")is shown with a
    red "N".
    So your connection between Callbridge and TServer is not there.
    Check LAN(ping) and/or check in CME->Environment->
    Applications->Properties from TServer XXX ->Options->
    LAN->
    hostname="[DNSName or IPAdress of Callbridge]"
    port="1040" (communic. port of Callbridge)
    protocol="TCP"

    2.)If linkstatus to PBX (signed via CBadmin->"Configuration"->
    "Callbridge Status/Statistics"->"PBX Driver")is shown with 4*"N"(with red letter)
    you have also to check configuration in HicomSwitch.
    Therefore you have to look via HicomConsole. The ACLC link to callbridge
    must be configured. If you need more informations about this, send me an email.
