IVR implementation ISSUE

Hi guys,

I was trying to implement IVR integration with genesys. I’m a little confused about the two components: I-server and tserver_ivr,
the confusion is :
Which one is a real application or just configuration?
Because, on the one hand, when I run setup.exe in installation package, it seems the application is tserver_ivr,  but the document says what I install from install package is iserver.on the other hand, document says the port number for I-server should be set as “0” or “.”
Also, in genesys demo with gvp integration, iserver is just a blank application, nothing in start info tab.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I agree with you that terminology related to IVR integration is confusing... So IVR T-Server is real application while I-Server is only configuration object. There is another object that may be required - IVR Driver that represents driver running direcly on IVR system.
