Does Stream manager come with SIP server? or do we need to pay extra to genesys?

In newest licensing model of SIPS one port of Stream Manager comes with every agent seat. If You need more ports You must purchase it.

Technicaly it dosent need it - right, but there was a change in commercial licensing model in december. Now You need license on per port basis. It's probably matter of time when technical licensing will be introduced

it's probably were done for media server, not for stream manager (imho)

In reality Stream Manager is end of life and is replaced by GVP 8.1.x components. The good news is that MCP can actually stream music without using a proprietary HTTP protocol which nobody supports. This means that you can use Microsoft Media Server etc. as a music source (in theory).
